Active projects
PRIN 2022The XAS group is involved in the national PRIN project E-ICES (Probing the Exotic properties of gas and ions filled ICES under extreme conditions: from planetary interiors modelling to hydrogen storage and green Energy applications), 2023-2025 grant 2022NRBLPT). The Unicam principal investigator is Prof. A. Di Cicco. E-ICES is an Italian funded PRIN multisite collaborative project (3 Universities - Unicam, Uni Roma 1, UniAq- and CNR). Total approved funding 190 kEuro.
PNRR VITALITY 2022Since 2023 the XAS group is involved in the PNRR Project VITALITY ECS00000041 “Innovation, digitalisation and sustainability for the diffused economy in Central Italy”, as affiliated group in the spoke 9 “Nanostructured materials and devices” (University of Perugia, CNR, private companies).
PNRR NQSTI 2022Since 2023 the XAS group is involved in the PNRR Project NQSTI “National Quantum Science and Technology Institute”, as affiliated group in the spoke 5 “Electron-based platform for quantum technologies” (University of Pisa, CNR).
COMPLETEDPRIN 2008 The XAS group has been involved in the national PRIN project NEWLI (NEW LIght on transient states in condensed matter by advanced photon - electron spectroscopies, 2016-1019 grant 2015CL3APH). The Unicam principal investigator is Prof. A. Di Cicco, with Prof. R. Gunnella, and Dr. Angela Trapananti. NEWLI is an Italian funded PRIN multisite collaborative project (4 Universities and CNR).
COMPLETEDSIRBATT project: "Stable Interfaces for Rechargeable Batteries (FP7)" see web site The XAS group has been involved in the SIRBATT (Stable Interfaces for Rechargeable Batteries, 2013-2016) FP7 project. The Unicam principal investigator was Prof. A. Di Cicco, with Prof. R. Gunnella, Dr. M. Minicucci, and Dr. F. Nobili, R. Tossici (Chemistry Division) as main collaborators. SIRBATT was a European funded FP7 multisite collaborative project. It consisted of 12 partners from across Europe and includes six universities, five industry partners and one research institute. COMPLETEDTIMEX project: "An end-station for ultrafast TIme-resolved studies of Matter under EXtreme and metastable conditions" see web site The development of the TIMEX end-station installed at the Fermi@ELETTRA free-electron laser (FEL) has been proposed by the XAS group @ Camerino University and financed by Sincrotrone Trieste within a collaboration agreement between two research groups (EIS beamline, Fermi@ELETTRA Trieste, XAS group Camerino University). The TIMEX project has been active in the years 2008-2012 and continued for some months in 2013. The TIMEX end-station is currently operated under the responsibility of the EIS beamline team (EIS-TIMEX beamline). COMPLETEDPRIN 2008 "Vetri e liquidi sottoraffreddati densificati: studi con raggi X ad alta pressione" ("Densified undercooled glasses and liquids: investigations by means of X-rays under high pressure").Partners: UNIPG, UNIAQ, UNICAM, UNITN, UNIME CARINI Giuseppe (MESSINA) FONTANA Aldo (TRENTO) NARDONE Michele (L'AQUILA) SACCHETTI Francesco (PERUGIA) COMPLETEDNUME (project coordinator Bruno Scrosati):"DEVELOPEMENT OF COMPOSITE PROTONIC MEMBRANES AND OF INNOVATIVE ELECTRODE CONFIGURATIONS FOR POLYMER ELECTROLYTE FUEL CELLS"
